Georgia executor fee calculator
Unless the will or a written agreement sets the fee, a Georgia personal representative earns 2.5% of all money received and 2.5% of all money paid out. The probate court can also allow up to 3% of the value of property handed over as is, without being sold (O.C.G.A. § 53-6-60).

What can change the amount
- The will, a written agreement with the person who died, or one signed by all affected heirs or beneficiaries comes first (§ 53-6-60(a)).
- Extra commissions can apply to interest earned on estate loans and to working land (§ 53-6-60(b)(2), (4)).
- The personal representative can lose a year's commissions by not filing the annual return (§ 53-6-60(f)).
