About ProbateUS
We want to make probate court information more accessible. Court websites are often hard to find and harder to use, and families dealing with an estate have enough to handle already.
What you'll find here
For each US county, ProbateUS lists the probate court's address, phone number and website, and its hours, fees and forms where the court publishes them. There is also a probate guide for each state and a few free calculators. Every court page links to the court's own website, so you can confirm the details there before you call or visit. The methodology page explains where the information comes from.
What we are not
ProbateUS is not a court, a government office or a law firm, and nothing on the site is legal advice. For advice about an estate, talk to a probate attorney in your state.
How the site is paid for
ProbateUS is free to use. Some pages link to EverSettled, an estate settlement service. These links are a commercial relationship that helps pay for the site, and they are labeled "Sponsored". Courts and attorneys do not pay to appear here.
Found a mistake?
Courts move, change phone numbers and raise fees. If a listing is wrong, report a correction or email info@probateus.com. We check each report and fix the listing.
